The Eye Foundation conducted free cataract surgery camps at Kolumam village Madathukulam (TK) and at Kulathupalayam village, Coimbatore District on Sunday, 18th August. In both these places more than 120 people participated. Around 15% of the population screened in these camps found to have cataract and out of that 14 people opted for the cataract surgery and will be treated tomorrow.
